Eastudies.org: About the initiative: The Eastudies Team

Eastudies is nonprofit project with contributors from Europe, Asia and the US. The site was founded in 2003 at Tübingen University, Germany.

Arne C Schmidt \| Co-Founder & Project Management University of Tübingen Germany Doshisha Business School (DBS) Japan Doshisha Daigaku Arne co-founded the initiative back in 2003 and is still managing the joint efforts of our international team. He also wrote most of the code of this website. He recently finished his diploma thesis on the pricing of structured securitized derivatives with exotic components. His second major is Japanese Studies.
David Marutschke \| Co-Founder & Editor in Chief University of Tübingen Germany, Doshisha Business School (DBS) Japan Doshisha Daigaku David manages the contacts to universities in Japan and is responsible for design, logo and vector based graphics at the site. He studies International Business Administration and Japanese Studies at the University of Tübingen and is currently working on his thesis about corporate restructuring.
